She has a ton of great ideas if you’re just a smidge more ambitious about your camp food than I am!.So that’s pretty much how we managed to do very little cooking while we were camping, but ate like kings!Best of all, my food borne illness paranoia that usually forces me into town to eat at restaurants, or to live off of stale muffins really didn’t have a chance to show up at all!.Oh, our poor neglected garden.

Between camping trips, soccer games, baseball games and life, we just haven’t had the time to dedicate to it this year.It looks nothing like our garden did at this time last year.. Our garden early last June.

Last year, it was a thing of beauty.

All full and lush and green.Chris was a little confused as to why I would paint our closet doors black, but he’s just not cool like you and I, so he doesn’t get how neat it is..

So what did I decide to draw on them, this first time around?.Why, closet doors of course!

I used an old yardstick that I found in a closet upstairs to draw a bunch of “planks” and try to make them look sort of like those fun barn-style doors I’ve been seeing around lately.And when I get bored, I’ll just draw a different style of door!
